A Friday Evening

No doubt a plane from Yeovilton decorated this evening sky, seen from our gate as we came back from an evening walk at about 6 o'clock.
Blossom has appeared on our wild plum trees, and the scent is delicate and fragrant in the warmer air that we have enjoyed today.
Enjoyed the village Cafe this morning, and also a little shopping in town - bread from the baker, etc. Let's hope these individual shops will not have to compete with the supermarket giant who is trying to get planning permission on the edge of the town - no names mentioned!!
The trees by our village hall (yesterday's blip) remained as they were today, devastated by the drastic cut of the saw.
