Shelfie

A bit late for World Book Day, but never mind.

A lesser person might have vetted the shelves beforehand, but not I!

Nancy Mitford, Chaim Potok, Jilly Coopers, Mapp and Lucia's, knitting, crochet, embroidery, every book Barbara Pym ever wrote, soppy poetry, my old Ladybird books, Bunty, Judy and Smash Hits Annuals, this that and the other for Dummies, not to mention the copy of The Irish RM, unread for twenty years, or the copies of Inkheart and Harriet the Spy, borrowed, not read and still unreturned. I don't care what anyone thinks, I only mourn the hundreds of books I've thrown out over the years due to lack of space! I wish I'd kept everything!
