Whittling II
Youtube informs me that the inability of my planes to cut wood stems not (just) from my own cluelessness but from the fact that they are, essentially, only half finished when you get them. They might look assembled and feel sharp by actually, it's up to you to properly assemble and sharpen them. So, that was this afternoon's job. Knife through butter now. And after that some more scraps of wood were whittled down into pointless little spoons. The little guy on the right is more useful - a little guide for cutting dovetails.
