Childhood Memory

This used to be called Creamola Foam - I don't know why it isn't anymore* - and it used to be a bit of childhood treat. The idea that you could add water and make your own fizzy drink** was a bit of scientific magic.

It didn't really fizz though. And there were never bubbles like there were in "proper" soft drinks. The orange one did taste vaguely of orange and the raspberry one tasted vaguely of red or pink.

However. The proper thing to do here was to take a heaped teaspoon of it and shove it straight in your mouth.

I'm sure the resulting fizz action did for most of my milk teeth. That and Cowan's Highland Toffee. And Toffos.

And since they've changed the name of this, I propose we rename the film "Creamola - East Of Java".

* I know that they stopped making it in 1998 or so but what was the problem with using the old name.

** Where I grew up "proper" soft drinks were not known as "pop" as in England, or "soda" as in the USA, but rather as "Ginger". No idea why.
