domestic bliss

well it seems my complaints about dreary days were heeded, beautiful sunshine today, but still Baltic. After dropping Em at nursery I went for a brisk walk up the island with camera for company. Felt strange not to be pushing the little miss in front of me, it certainly wasn't as much of a workout! There was an element of spring cleaning in the air with contractors vans parked outside many of the summer homes and even a group of gardeners tidying up. I took myself down Andrew's Lane where the little huts are and sat on the shore for a while looking over the Sound to Fisher's. No wind or breeze, just warm sunshine. A real treat.
