Not in despair

This is a bit of a desperation blip. I had an event lined up to take photos of, but it was too dark, and my battery was gone, and I was in a bit of a mood. So I returned to the photography trail with some lilies that a friend gave us last weekend that are **still** going strong. The stamens are definitely the best thing about lilies. The smell is not the best thing.

And we had a lovely time on Saturday night with P, whom I hadn't seen for at least fifteen years (our sons were best friends at primary school).

It's been a couple of days of work, work, work. A bit of time tomorrow to take stock tomorrow (and to print out things like boarding passes) and then it's offski again on Sunday morning.

Sorry to be a bad blipper at the moment, with little of interest to say on my own journal and even less to contribute those of others.
