Valente's Fish and Chips Bar

Just after noon today, returning from a shopping trip, I was about to pass Valente's Fish and Chips Bar, and thought this would make for a different Blip from me.

Valente's is a family run business established in 1921, which is now run by the 4th generation. Over the years it has built a good reputation in the Kingdom of Fife.

They have won a few awards over the years, including a Seafish Quality award every year since 2001. They also received a 'Two Ticks' mark which means 'amongst the best of its type in the UK' from Peter Irvine, author of 'Scotland the Best'.

So as these things go, a pretty good fish and chips shop, but given my current dietary regime, I could only take a photograph today rather than buy something.
