A Town Under Steel

Imposing its presence over the town of Grangetown, the BOS Plant overlooks with authority and dominance.
I grew up with this building on my doorstep. My father and his father before him worked all their working lives in and around this magnificent presence. Many friends and their fathers worked here too. It is fair to say this building and all that is within within has provided the opportunity for countless generations to have houses to live in, food on the table, energy to keep warm and security to grow.
A landmark it is and iconic in the surrounding/supporting towns/villages. I have had the pleasure of being able to go inside on several occasions and to witness the art of science, skill, bravery and ability of both machines and men at work is quite simply astounding.
