beefsteak funghi

spent the day pollarding, copacing and coralling some 400-800 year old oak trees in deep suffolk all in the aim of preserving these magnificent oaks. One think I noticed within a couple of the oaks that had been vandalised (burnt), tey had continued to show life within, namely these funghi, growing in abundance. having my camera with me, during my lunch break I had to capture these amongst other shots.
