Two's company, three ro more is a crowd...

These starlings are the main reason why I have had to increase the replenishment of my bird feeders from once every three days to once a day. I try to not regard starlings as vermin (as those responsible for the centre of many of a major cities must feel). They have such nice feather detail but the fact that they tend to arrive in great numbers does not help their case. Currently I have only four or five who are visiting the bird feeders but in the past summers I have had as many as twenty on the lawn.
