Cornflower

It's odd, the cornflowers seem to be taking it in turns to flower (and well before they normally do).

Today was "Der Tag der Technik", or technology day, for my German teacher. She was always a bit afraid of it. Basically because no one could/would talk to her in a way that she could understand.

I'm a bit different.

And so I bought her a shiny new computer. And we got it up and running. And we had a bit of a nose around. Ran various things. And basically dispelled the idea that there's anything to be worried about. And when things weren't as easy as we hoped, we took a deep breath and figured stuff out.

A very positive evening - bear in mind that I had to explain everything in German. Felt quite odd being the teacher for a change. But she took copious notes and I kept asking if she wanted something explained again (I know how frustrating it can be when you try to learn things but you feel so stupid about asking again...).
