Water, Water, Water

The day started fine and dry so decided to him on a hike with the dogs. It's amazing the change in sound in the forest - full of singing birds now and noticeably the small birds paired up and gathering nesting material.

I had taken a photo of the lichen and moss on a tree to use as my blip - but driving round the west coast, went past the famous waterfall called Eas Fors - as it's been raining non stop since early afternoon it was a raging torrent - it's pretty spectacular. I daren't get too close as I would have got soaked.

Ducks have started laying and made a Victoria sandwich - first time I've cooked with duck eggs - looks ok - let's hope it tastes good
