Hard at work

Well the weathermen got it wrong - it was supposed to be a reasonable day but instead we had low cloud, rain, poor visibility and a cold wind - pah!

A day was planned to meet friends go for a mooch round and see what we could see.

Despite the weather trying to spoil things, it failed. Through the rain we watched an adult white tailed eagle collecting sticks and taking them to the nest - his Nate came in to join him no doubt to supply the instructions where each stick should be placed.

A snipe was a lovely tick for the day too. Later we were delighted to see a juvenile returning to it's territory - possibly hoping for a free meal from mum and dad.

Don't let the weather put you off - the wildlife is there - there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing
