Today's the day ........................ to take tiffin

You can't possibly spend time in Singapore and not go to the famous Raffles Hotel for High Tea in the Tiffin Room. So that's what we did today.

It's a little bit pricey - but not really considering the choice of food that's on offer - and you can go back and fill your plate as many times as you want. The highlight for Will would have to be an enormous silver tureen of piping hot bread and butter pudding - with vanilla sauce on the side. I loved the five varieties of little sandwiches on the bottom tier of our cake stand.

It's such an iconic building - Will painted a bit of it yesterday. A leafy haven in this bustling, high-tec city...............
