Tickety Boo!

Finally took Eva to Tickety Boo this morning... We had a great time!!! We met Jenny and Eva there too. Eva thoroughly loved it and I absolutely loved seeing her having so much fun, so we were both in our element!! We started off sitting on the mats with all the toys, but gradually got braver and ventured round the room. I pushed Eva on the little toy scuttlebug bike thingy, which she loved. I was pushing her all the way round the room going "beep beep", Eva couldn't get enough lol. I stepped back quickly to take the photo of her on it, as I had visions of her sliding off. Eva then went on the bouncy castle. I sat on it with her to start with, but it was making my head go funny, so I got off and let her on on her own while there weren't many kiddies on it. She couldn't quite get up over the first bit of where you get on, but again, it was a first for her and she had a great time. She also went in the tunnel, sat on the big, foam cow and watched the staff play the foam frisbee game, where they built towers of foam frisbees, then said the magic words and sent them hurtling across the room, Eva was transfixed. Mickey Mouse came out at one point and I took Eva over to say "hello", but she wasn't too sure about Mickey. At the end, we all sat round on the big mats and sang songs, danced and they got the parachute out which I think was probably Eva's highlight. She was throwing her arms up in the air as the parachute wafted up and looking up at it in wonder, then went crawling off away from me across the mat having a wonderful time. I waved "bye Eva!" She turned, mid crawl and waved back mouthing "bahh bahh".

She fell asleep in the car on the way home, then had a good sleep in her cot when we got back.

In the afternoon, Nanny (my mom) came round to see us shortly followed by Grandad (my dad). Grandad sat with her and read her Owl Babies. We got her the pop up version for her birthday and I love the page where their Mummy comes back and it's a big pop up owl, flying out of the page.
