Dare to Dream

A long day, of ups and downs work wise.

But the final part of the working day was a reminder of why teaching IS a rewarding profession. Prizegiving evening for our current senior year group, and the year group who have just left in the summer, with the best set of results our school has ever seen.

We were paid a surprise visit by this Olympic Gold medallist(we have contacts!). A short speech and a stunning 4 minute montage of footage of her cycling - goosebumps stuff, really inspiring.

Lovely, lovely person, smiled all evening, said wonderful things about our students based on what she had seen and heard, and left them with a simple instruction...

"Dare to dream".
