Katabami

While I don't really frequent anymore, this is the bar that I was once a several-times-a-week regular. I attribute this bar and the fun and friendly staff and customers to jump-starting my Japanese speaking skills. At the beginning of my second year I started coming here one weeknight a week to make myself speak in Japanese. It was hard at first, but the more I spoke the more fluid it became, the more words I remembered and the more fun I had. The rest is history.
