Fallen trees

We were taking a walk round Kilmardinny loch. While there are big areas where dead or dangerous wood has been cleared, there are still wilderness parts where the fallen trees remain, with small rhododendron plants taking hold again.

However this picture was very much an exercise in Photoshop to convert a mainly green picture to monochrome and then convert that to sepia - and in doing so to give it a bit more ooomph!
