Rhododendrons

Chris and Lesley were visiting to celebrate his birthday. We went to Ross Priory for lunch and a few holes of golf. Lunch was good but golf was not. But the whole outing was very enjoyable.

We went for a brief walk through the grounds, and were amazed that the first of the rhododendrons was in bloom, indeed was dropping it blossoms while snow drops were still in the ground beneath it.

Home after Ross Priory and then to our local Tapas restaurant for an absolutely first rate dinner.

All in all, a great day
