Haus Ruhrblick

Took my patient out for a long walk in the beautiful sun today. We managed more than 4 miles, although we took it quite slowly. Hubby is feeling better each day - but he'll be really glad when stitches come out and labs show good news. Hopefully by Wednesday.

The weather was just stunning - I can't believe my poor family and friends back in Maryland are facing another 10 inches of snow tomorrow. They've had such a brutal winter!

Snapped this photo during our walk. Next month we take possession and can begin renovations. Part of me has not really processes that fact yet. I really love the historic house we are in now and it will be difficult to leave. But the hill-side house offers fabulous views of the river from every level, I am sure it won't be long before it feels like home.
