Morning Has Broken

I went out to get some shots of the roundabout at the other end of town from yesterdays shot.

My intention was to get the sun sitting on the top of the spire - but I am a month or two too early I think.
But the clouds above the spire.

I then moved down to The Wind Vane Family.
It is a really hard group to get good shots of. They are too close together to get a shot of a single vane .... there are always others getting in the shot and I couldn't get far enough back to prevent clipping the tips.
I wonder how many people realise that there are things on the towers - all related to the shale oil industry.

Mid morning and we went out for a walk along trail - all wet and muddy.
It was when I went to get a shot of snowdrops I found that my boot was split.
Yuck!

So after visiting the mother-in-law I had to go and buy a new pair of boots.
Damn.
