Beside the car park ...

... next to the supermarket, this great ship (a cable-laying ship, perhaps?) looms unexpectedly. The new community that has grown up in Newhaven throws up surprising contrasts, as the docks line the shore where first Asda, then new blocks of houses and apartments have grown up. Having done the shopping, I took the chance while Mr B was filling the car with diesel of nipping over to the railings to take this photo.

I found the contrast strangely pleasing ...
