Madeira- Day 6

A half-day tour to the Nun's Valley & Monte today. Spectacular scenery.
An afternoon siesta was called for before the marathon Carnival Parade, which lasted from 10pm until Midnight. Hundreds of people took part. The costumes and floats were amazing- a match for Mardi Gras in New Orleans, I'm sure.
