The "trumpet" on this miniature daffodil measures around a quarter of an inch (0.7cms) across ..... amazing how nature can fit so much detail into such small things.

Melt into the buttery yellow .....

The how and the where: 50mm prime lens with macro screw-on magnifier attached - natural light - camera on very short tripod legs, daffodils in glass on chair in the dining room and me sitting on the floor!
