Up on the roof

Now this was an experience! Here I am up on the roof of the Palace in Crown Square looking out over the city of Edinburgh on a glorious morning. There were several shots I could have used and it took some painful consideration to decide but in the end I went for this one with the clock tower in the foreground and the Pentland hills in the back. It's such a freeing experience to get up to a vantage point!
