Croxteth Hall

I have been to Liverpool again today; this time to measure 2 races.

I am becoming increasingly familiar with the parks of Liverpool, having measured in three of them recently.

This magnificent building was built as a family home.

It was either a big family or the kids had lots of sleepovers......

The house is enormous. This is about half of the front side and it has three more sides as big as this.

It is now used as a conference centre for a college.

The race at this venue sounds like a lot of fun. It goes through some wooded areas and takes place around Halloween. It has the title Beat the reaper and there will be people dressed as the grim reaper hiding in the trees encouraging everyone go a bit faster.

Well no-one wants to get caught by the grim reaper do they!
