Warming up

My view is from the stage for the warm up before these wonderful people ran the Age UK 10k at Tatton Park in Cheshire today.

Working with charities gives me a brilliant insight into the "nitty gritty" part of their work.
Age UK helps over 400,000 people in their later years, which they class as over 60.
22,000 older people die in winter because they can't afford to eat and heat their homes.
Age UK spent £1.3 million helping older people so they could help people eat and heat.

Around 850 athletes have had a great time, and to be perfectly honest, so did this very happy commentator.

The roadshow moves on to Harewood House near Leeds next weekend then Crystal Palace, London 2 weeks later.

Great fun, and a great team to work with.
