Springing into March.

Another bright and sunny day. If only the wind would drop off a bit it would be perfect. Well, maybe a couple more degrees Centigrade wouldn't hurt either.

After lifeguard training this morning, went for an afternoon stroll on the beach. The water was really low on a deep spring tide. There was an awful lot of sand on the seaward side of the WWI SMS B98 wreck.

This shot, taken from the road, near the Noust o' Russ Ness, East toward Lopness. The first building from the left in the background was part of the WWII Whalehead radar station.

More history than you can shake a stick at!
