St David's Day

Happy St David's day to all our Welsh friends. I did take more photographs of daffodils today, but as I blipped daffodils yesterday I thought it would be too many daffodils!

An afternoon watching Luke playing hockey, and despite being 0-0 at half time and then the opposition scoring first, it ended very satisfactorily with Luke's team winning 2-1. It was actually rather pleasant in the sunshine watching the game. Luke played very well, one of his better matches but he is now lying in an ice bath as he is a bit sore and tomorrow he has a Rugby Sevens tournament from 9.30am until about 4pm. And somehow he has to fit in all his A level work - he has just been given a heavy load of course work for maths which has to be completed in a week.

I liked the concentration on their faces in this image, and I loved the opposition team's pink hockey shirts. It takes a strong school to let their boys wear pink sports kit!
