Pesky

Spent a  quiet day at home in the hope of finally seeing off the cough. I spent some time trying to catch up with the Higgs boson, with only partial success.

I also finally finished off this pesky scarf. I so enjoyed wearing the one
Mr H  gave me that when I saw some fine alpaca/merino yarn I thought I'd have a crack at one. I found a free lacy-scarf pattern on t'Internet and got going. Not difficult at all, but oh dear, what a non-intuitive and unrememberable pattern - and impossible to correct an error without unpicking stitch by stitch. I think I shall give it to some deserving old lady so that this one never has to look at it again.

I have now resumed the Fair Isle glove project that I shelved about three years ago. Onwards!
