Spent the day working in a rather desultory fashion but coughing less frequently. The pills are doing their stuff but unfortunately are also doing my head in somewhat.

The bunch of twigs I picked at the allotment on Saturday is coming out already, doing so much more quickly than the first batch. Luckily there isn't a frost forecast for these parts, since our white meter seems to be broken and hasn't heated up the storage heaters. Think sitting on the sofa might require the duvet this evening.

Still - if Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?
