Lovely bright sunny day again, but cold and fresh..

Planted the trees we got yesterday, some in pots because they were quite small, and a dozen or so out on the croft. Scots Pine and Sitka Spruce (Christmas trees). There are 22 in pots.

Also planted the gooseberry bushes we got in Inverness on Tuesday. Then cut two large bundles of willows and planted those too. They'll form a good windbreak to shelter the veges and fruits.

Tanni had a really good run on the beach, the tide was as far out as I've ever seen it. Due to the recent new moon I guess.. Tanni is worn out, and w=fast asleep at my side.

Gillie is the pony in the neighbouring croft. He's out in all weathers, with no shelter, but he's very hardy..
