Oh how we laughed..

..dull day again after 22 mm rain yesterday.

Drain down the track had silted up with soil wasdhed down the ditch causing the old stone drain to overflow across the track and over a veg patch. "Dived in" and pulled out hand fulls of sludge until it was clear and started flowing again..

Went round and checked the mole traps, Moles 0 - Me 2!

D came up and gave me a talk about geology, a lesson I'd missed because of the Development co AGM..

The government has come up with a scheme to "badge" projects with Union Jacks and a message "Funded by the UK Government. The Scots have responded in style, with their own set of of pictures. 

This one with Rifkind and Straw. Others include Jimmy Saville kissing some nurses, a poster with facts about the Iraq war, a delivery of champagne to 11 Downing street, and nuclear weapons.. There's another picture of Westminster with a banner "Funded by Scottish oil"

We may have lost the referendum, but there is still plenty of ill-feeling towards Westminster, Conservatives, and the Labour parties..
