Yuk Sung

Another day off today spent mostly with Ciara, Sinead R and then Terri in town for the day. We went shopping and ate lunch at Gotham Cafe for delicious sandwiches and then shopped some more before heading to the Exchequer for drinks. That's where Terri joined us three for strawberry coladas, invisible iced teas and garden of Eden's cocktails, all very yummy!
I met Luke after he finished work and we bought ingredients for dinners during the week. Tonight's dish was yuk sung, one of my favourites, and we had to go to both M&S and the Asian Market superstore to get the stuff we needed. We also picked up some treats such as lychees and marshmallows with peach jelly inside them!
After I had cooked tea we watched some Modern Family as we ate and then the new season of Jonathan Creek began tonight and we watched that episode too before bed.
Today I am grateful for the delights of home cooking.
