54/365 Nelson Nevada

About half of us from the Death Valley workshop headed to Vegas after the workshop was over. On the way we stopped off in Nelson, Nevada to shoot the "ghost town" there...

A weird little "Ghost Town" south of Las Vegas, Nelson Nevada has a collection old car wrecks and mining/old time memorabilia scattered over the grounds. They rusted and battered nature of the vehicles and their surrounding will lend itself very well to experiment with extreme HDR, something I haven really messed with much. The shot included here isn't HDR but I got a lot of great source images for experimentation from the couple of hours I spent here.
