The cruel side of Thailand

We decided to hire a scooter today and take us to Tiger Kingdom to spend some time getting photographed with Tigers. When we arrived we decided to sit and watch what happened before we paid any money. We sat for over 40 mins watching these animals being treated horribly all for the sake of people getting decent Facebook photos!!! I'm not by any means an animals right campaigner but I believe this place should be shut down. The Tigers do not want to play and they definitely do not want drugged.

After leaving we went a long drive through the mountains and stopped when we wanted. The views were absolutely stunning but sadly the photos did not match up to this. We get back to Chiang Mia later than expected so just had a small chill before we were back out again.

We went to the Sunday night market which was even bigger and better than last night. They practically shut down the whole of the city centre to allow the market to happen. Even though the market is this big it's still uncomfortably filled with tourists to the point that you can't move.
