The North Lakes Hotel

Since 1995 We have been coming here every alternate Wednesday. When The Bro-in-law rings up and asks "Is it a Wednesday?" We answer according to whether it is a meeting Wednesday or the other one with yes or no.

We set up a business partnership that year with The Man's brother and our sister-in-law. As, at the time, The Man was also a teacher, The Bro-in-law was also a fireman, The Sis-in-law was also a care assistant and I was also running another shop, we felt we ought to get together every fortnight to discuss how business was going.

This very nice hotel on the outskirts of town was where we have met ever since.

We closed one of our shops six years ago and our other, just over one year ago but we still continue the meet-ups!
