Freezing Foggy Day

Today was another freezing foggy day. As I drove home from work it was just thick in the air and creating ice crystals on everything. I think the high temperature was about 28F today. This capture is the freezing fog clinging to a ponderosa pine in my front yard.

Earlier today, I entertained the idea of heading over to Shevlin Park for a nice trail run, but eventually decided to push it out to tomorrow when it's supposed to be about 11 degrees warmer.

Also, I feel a bit run down. I think much of it has to do with not getting a good amount of sleep which has left me exhausted and I think is the cause of my constant headaches these days. The Hubs is currently working nights and heads off around 10:30 pm. Often, I've been staying up late with him and not going to bed until after he leaves. Last night I even snuck up to my sewing room sewed a bit after he left, which means I didn't actually go to bed until after 11pm. That's way too late. The alarm goes off at 5am, ostensibly so I can do some strength training in the morning and have plenty of time to get myself off to work. In all reality that hasn't actually happened since mid-January.

I've got to seriously think about how to get more sleep. I love spending my evening time with the Hubs, but I also need to be realistic about the amount of sleep I need when I'm training for a race. Perhaps a few nights of going to bed early will help this a bit.
