Bright, colourful and distracting

Two hours ago these images wouldn't upload as apparently they were corrupted. Two hours of cleaning up my Mac and miraculously they will. Have become slightly more au fait than I ever intended with the behind the scenes working of the thing. Slightly annoyed by the amount of random stuff it decides to keep (a file of the BBC One and Two interstitials - really?). But strangely satisfied now I have some free space on my start-up disk.

And happy that my images have uploaded.

The image was prior to lunch preparation when I decided not only did I want to prepare a proper lunch but that I wanted to dust off a proper camera.

Today has been a very full on work day. Made possible as late last night I found one of those heat in the microwave lavender bags - it has barely left my neck today and has quite literally melted away* my shoulder pain. It is nothing short of miraculous.

And in other exciting news I can very, very nearly straighten my left leg.

It seems possible I might be a whole person again before I have to fly on an aeroplane for which I could jump for joy. Were that not a little risky so I shall have a quiet whoop instead.

I like that blip records the hard days too but it is a relief to follow on with something brighter. And speaking of bright, I give you chard. It was delicious.
