Stroppy little alley cat
Yesterdays blip reminisced over being an usherette at Liverpools Everyman Theatre. This was the first of many part time evening and weekend jobs when I was young. I did this one and Lime Street Station cigarette stall whilst still at school ( lying about your age was much easier in those days, no-one asked for proof!) but the hardest of all was Betting Office cashier in Toxteth which was truly scary but I held down for 3 years whilst at college and could make a whole TV series out of, provided all the characters are now dead or in Walton Gaol!
I have very few pictures of childhood and even fewer of adolescence....but I do still have this, which was my photo pass for backstage at The Everyman in 1977!! Lol, I look ready to thump someone...which I guess is pretty normal at 15!
I'd like to say I'd mellowed......?!?
