The Little Lyle Files

X is for Xylology?

This is one of two lumps of wood that have languished in our bath for the past week and the burning question is, “Has Mrs W taken up xylology as a hobby?”

Okay. I know you think this is a made up word but it is not. According to a variety of online resources (none of them containing adult material), xylology is defined as a branch of dendrology dealing with the structure of wood. (I swear none of my sources are adult sites)

The reason that this bit of wood has been in our bath is actually to soak and clean it in preparation for becoming a feature in the fish tank. Problem is, Mrs W has problems with spacial awareness and seems to think that we have a tank the size of which you would expect to see in a sea life centre.

So, on this occasion X is not actually for Xylology but it will more than satisfy today’s rather tricky blip alphabet challenge.
