Signs

As we were packing to leave the moor this morning I noticed two good signs of spring.

It the tops of some large trees across the road the rooks were noisily building their nest for this years broods. It never ceased to surprise me how these bundles of sticks seem to stay in the trees what ever the wind throws at them.

In some large pots on the patio we have had primroses growing all winter through frost and rain. Over the past few days I have noticed they appeared to be rotting away, then suddenly this morning the pots were full of fresh new flowers!
