Blue Flower

When I opened my front door this morning I saw these blooms beginning to open on the edge of the doorstep. It started as a lovely sunny morning and I could see that it was set to last - my predictions are not always spot on, of course, but today they were! I was waiting for the sun to open the blooms a bit more so I could make them my blip for the day. I got down as far as I could to get a good shot - didn't really fancy lyeing on my tummy on cold gravel! I've forgotten what these flowers are called, but in a few days my gravel will be covered by them and they do present a very pretty sight!
