African Violets

African violets are so adaptable to almost every kind of environment so it is easy to see why they are such a popular houseplant. I happen to like the colors and thought it looked pretty with the sunlight streaming in on it through the window.
I did not get out today and spent a good deal of the day on the phone, catching up with emails and reading. I refuse to feel guilty about it since I was so productive yesterday with sorting all my clothes.
I guess even I would have been surprised if I had continued with the momentum and gone on to tackle other closets in the house today. I needed the break. I want to sort the linens next since I have tablecloths in there that I no longer even have the tables that fit them. Why we save things for so long is something I am questioning a lot lately. I guess it is hard to get rid of things we spend money on and unless you know someone who could use it, you just stick it in a closet and forget about it.
Many of you commented on my organizing and clearing out yesterday as a sure sign of spring. I do hope you are right!
