Flat Stephanie's Adventure

Hi! My name is Flat Stephanie. My friend Alyssa sent me on an adventure :)

I went to see DaveH in Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. The sun was shining, so we went for a walk on a long street called The Royal Mile.

First we saw Edinburgh Castle. People have lived on this spot for more than 2000 years! The castle is on a huge rock, so it is very safe from attackers.

Next, we walked down the street to a big church called Saint Giles Kirk. The sun was very bright.

Then we saw a very old house. A man called John Knox lived there long ago. The house was built just before Christopher Columbus discovered America!

At the end of the Royal Mile is a Palace. It is called Holyrood House. The Queen lives there sometimes, when she comes to Scotland.

After all the walking we were tired. It had been a busy day!
