Our diseased Beech Tree

The lovely old Beech has been diagnosed with Ustelina and Ganoderma Fungal infestation. So it has to go - down to where it can be safe. So my blip today was taken literally when the tree surgeons were unloading their cutting gear. Its sad to see a 100 year old tree being cut down but we have to be practical. Good bye lovely tree.
