The Games Are Over?

Well, as the AOG came to a close here in the Pacific Northwest Stadium, everyone was surprised by a major snowstorm. Despite the weather Team Gull made a brilliant showing in the final events of the competition. Their Ocean Swooping was brilliant and they scored gold medals in three events of Aerial Antics, something at which they have always excelled. They were very disciplined and focused which in itself was surprising given their previous problems. Once they got to the snack bar to celebrate though, it was a different story and probably one best left unreported.

Several juncos were heard asking if do-overs were possible.

PNW stadium is currently under about six inches of snow, so I think we can assume that today winter has arrived. We’d best enjoy it quickly because the forecast has the temperature rising to 41F on Tuesday and 50F by Wednesday.
