Exit stage left

The trip to Foyles yesterday resulted in us buying a couple of scripts, no surprises there*. One was Bitch Boxer which i saw last year on a Soho new writers tour when in came to Winchester and have been raving about ever since. Brilliant, tight script, great staging and well acted and directed. It also has a storyline that really resonated with me. I'd be begging to act it if I was 20 years younger. I'd love to direct it now.

We found out later yesterday evening that it part of last year's Debut season at E15 and then this evening I found out via Facebook that it's on at the Soho Theatre in March/April. Tickets are booked and this time K will get to attend. He had a ticket last time but the dissertation prevailed.

In other news my first kebab ever last night didn't (a) kill me (b) make me sick or (c) require me to visit the JR. Was that just Oxford kebab folklore and I've been missing out all these years?

Oh and I think we finally came to a decision on the wedding invitation list. Really limited numbers for wedding and meal made for a horrible decision process. It wasn't that there was any real disagreement it's just an unpleasant process. Thankfully in the evening we can invite everyone we'd like to. Of course, then we realised that we had to actually do the inviting so designing an invitation might take a bit longer. If you know me and I know you read this, please don't get offended if an invitation is a little slow in arriving. It'll just be that we haven't had enough time together to do the next step!

The other purchase about Agile Project Management was being read rather intensely downstairs. I didn't make a value judgment to exclude it.
