Perspective

Less than two hours sleep according to my Fitbit (alleviated not caused by some cricket ) and dramas on both commutes could have turned this into a saga of a blip. And yet somehow it's been a cracking day. I chose to walk away from the stressy, cramped tube station after they diverted us to High Street Kensington. Why? It's a right royal PITA to get anywhere from when only one branch is running. Instead I had a gentle walk and then a bus ride through some glorious bits of London. I love London and choosing to enjoy riding the top deck like a tourist made it joyful. Used the delay at Clapham to eat and do a bit of exercise. Read on the way home. A lovely walk through Winchester then home to tea cooked for me and this gorgeous tea from my parents. What would have been s crap day has left me with a warm glow. Amazing what a difference perspective can make.

Reading about value summits may have helped.

I'm Ignoring the fact I couldn't work on my CV or get the washing done and putting my energies into resting. Sleep will happen if it wants to.
