The best ball boy

I feel completely different on Sundays I realised today. Yesterday in my mind should be a proper activity day and I got quite stroppy about it when no one was sharing my enthusiasm. Today, I was quite happy for nothing to be done at all. We did go and play tennis again though. Daisy and I took Will, never has there been a more enthusiastic ball boy, he ran for miles. The fact Daisy and I are really quite crap at hitting the ball might have had something to do with that.

Dented dishwasher update: John Lewis gave me my £62 and told me to let them know if that was not what I wanted. Then Jay took to it with a pair of pliers. So now I have a hardly dented, slightly marked dishwasher, £62 and the cleanest dishes you have ever seen. I am quite happy with that, thank you do much for your strong opinions, they were such a help.

And tomorrow, hurrah, the children both have an inset day so the lunch boxes and dragging Daisy from her bed can wait another day, brilliant.
